It is Officially Proven – The Aspartame is One of the Deadliest Food Additives Around


Probably some of the most dangerous chemicals as well as drugs are not chemicals and drugs at all, they are the foods and drinks that we consume every day. It is not only bad for you, it is quite literally a form of poison. It can triple your risk of a stroke and Dementia according to some new studies.

The study was performed by scientists from Boston University. They studied over 4,400 different adults to really find out the effects of chemicals in diet drinks.

They have concluded that those had adults who have one diet drink per day happen to be three times more at risk of suffering from stroke and dementia. The researchers conducted this study for almost ten years.

The daily mail has reported that the team has concluded adults who have had more or more diet drinks a day were 2.9 times more likely to develop dementia and 3 times more at risk for strokes or other cardiovascular issues.

Matthew Pase, who happens to be a senior fellow in the department of neurology at the Boston University School of Medicine furthermore claims that – “Our study shows a need to put more research into this area given how often people drink artificially sweetened beverages.

Although we still haven’t found an association between the stroke or dementia and the regular consumption of sugary drinks, this certainly does not mean they are a healthy option. We recommend that people drink water on a regular basis instead of sugary or artificially sweetened beverages,” Pase added to his statement.

The team urges all of the healthcare professionals to stop promoting the diet drinks as a suitable replacement for the regular soda. This is not just the only study which has been performed on these terrible diet drinks and their later effects either.

There have been some other findings revealed by researches performed by the Imperial College which is in London. It has even been published in the American Heart Association’s Journal Stroke and this particular study followed 4.372 adults, all over the age of 45.

Each of the participants filled out a questionnaire about their daily food intake as well as drink intake.According to the latest research, Dr. Rosa Sancho, who is head of research at the Alzheimer’s Research UK stated that – “As people are becoming more aware of the consequences of a diet high in sugar, many people seem to turn to artificially sweetened diet drinks as an alternative to those with lots of sugar.

Future studies will need to confirm these findings in other groups of people, and explore what might be underlying any link between artificially sweetened soft drinks and dementia.”

One the other hand, the director general of the British Soft Drinks Association, Gavin Partington claims to disagree with the empirical data. He commented on these findings as following – “Despite their claims, the authors of this observational study admit they found no cause and effect and provide no science-based evidence whatsoever to support their theories.

Actually, based on the evidence found, the Public Health England is actively encouraging food and drink companies to use low-calorie sweeteners as an alternative to sugar and help people manage their weight.”

We would defintely recommend anyone that consumes diet drinks to immediately make a different decision on these particular beverages. If you are already consuming these diet beverages, you must become health conscious right now!
