The following procedure works very well when you incorporate daily enemas to help completely remove the softened fecal matters during this detox. It is essential to have an enema especially if you have chronic constipation.
Consuming 1-3 tablespoons of flaxseed flour for three weeks can completely clean the intestines from the mucus and fecal deposits, or parasites, while fully preserving the intestinal microflora!

HOW TO DO THE COLON CLEANSE

Instead of breakfast, consume this mixture every morning for 3 weeks:

Week 1: 1 tablespoon of flaxseed flour and 100 ml of kefir
Week 2: 2 tablespoons of flaxseed flour and 100 ml of kefir
Week 3: 3 tablespoons of flaxseed flour and 150 ml of kefir

If flaxseed flour is not available in your local store, buy some flaxseed and grind it finely. Use only organic flaxseed. Prepare fresh portions every morning. Never make extra for the next few days, because the seeds can become rancid. Store unused flaxseed in the fridge.

The best results are obtained if you drink 8 ounces of water with 1 teaspoon raw honey water and 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar stirred in, immediately after taking the mixture every morning.

Cautionary Note:

  1. Do not do this cleanse if you have cancer or severe health issues, are pregnant or nursing, just underwent a surgery or feeling unwell.
  2. If your regular diet is lacking in fiber, this cleanse may initially cause mild bloating and gas. Make sure you drink plenty of water as well to keep the bowel moving. Not drinking sufficient water may cause constipation.
  3. Kefir is made from a fermentation process, so it’s generally safe for individuals who may be lactose-intolerant. In case you cannot find, or prefer a non-dairy recipe, you may use this gastro-intestinal cleanse as given on this page which works as well. Just remember to drink plenty of water along with the cleanse!
  4. Some individuals may find the need to use the washroom more regularly when going on a colon cleanse. Naturally, as your body is moving out old fecal matters, it would be handy to have easy access to a washroom when doing this detox.
