That means the oil needs to be light in texture. This type of oil is also safer for use on thin, fine hair. So, which one would work best?
Avocado oil is an excellent choice since your hair absorbs it very easily, and the best part is your hair won’t feel limp or greasy.
2. Babassu Oil for Curly or Thick Hair
In the case that you have unruly hair which simply refuses to behave itself, then you should look for an oil that is more heavy-duty.
This will not only keep your mane well-groomed and tamer (it will reduce the frizz), but it will also define your curls for you.
Even though you can also opt for coconut or shea oils, babassu oil would be the perfect choice and it has been recommended by many hair experts.
The great thing about this oil is that it is comedogenic in nature, which means it won’t cause any scalp irritation. It has a good grip which this type of hair needs.
3. Marula Oil for Colored Hair
If you have the habit of coloring your hair on a more regular basis, then you’re also going to have to work harder to give it the proper nourishment it needs.
This is because color has a tendency to strip the natural moisture from your hair. This is where marula oil comes in. It is lightweight and lean.
And since it is abundant in vitamins E and C, it has a fast-absorbing ability and quickly seals the cuticles so that you don’t lose the moisture you need. This will maintain your hair smooth and without frizz.
4. Tea Tree Oil for Oily or Dry Scalp
If you find you have a dry or oily scalp, this may be due to an imbalance in the scalp. This usually means you need a few oils which would tackle the problems individually.
A great choice is tea tree oil because it has antifungal and antibacterial properties.
That means it’s wonderful for not only removing any surplus buildup of oil in your scalp, but also getting rid of the dead skin cells which are the ones who aggravate dandruff.
Other than that, it also helps unclog hair follicles and thus promotes healthy and fast hair growth.
5. Argan Oil for Dry Hair
Many of us know the hassle with dealing with dry hair. It can be especially problematic during those chilly winter months.
Also, if you are having a constant struggle battling split ends, you should seriously consider employing the help of argan oil. It can not only repair the hair strands but also revitalize your hair.
